As a teacher, my classes would be mostly about self-confidence in speaking and writing : you obviously CAN speak a language even in A1 Level! The materials would be French songs, movies or series (if free on the internet, small pieces of writing) , trying to find something easy enough for the student to understand, related to their interests (as far as I can / know).
Also, I'd like the student to keep in touch with me via Social media / mail / texts even during the week / days we don't see each other, every time they have a problem with grammar / vocabulary / slang / humor! A language is an everyday work, and I intend to help my student achieving much more than their goals!
Also, I've never taught, so my planned structures / wished courses may not work, but I have to try to know! 😉
