About Emma
Perhaps the most important thing to know about me is that I love learning languages! Alongside studying French at university, I study beginner German and studied Latin at GCSE and A Level. I firmly believe that learning a language should be a fun and engaging prospect, with immersion in the culture as a way of learning. In particular, French music is a passion of mine, and I have plenty of recommendations! Learning a language is one of the most rewarding things you can do, and I want to share that with you!

I focus on the person I am tutoring, getting to know them and the way they wish to learn. I provide a structured learning programme based on what the learner wishes to get out of French, using different forms of media including music and literary texts. I achieved A* at A Level, so am particularly experienced with successful revision techniques. Lessons will last an hour, aimed at secondary school and GCSE level.
