About Julia
I am a substitute teacher, painter, and hobby novelist. I've been teaching since I was a high school exchange student in Japan. My students learn fluency with fun, and are able to use their language skills in real life.
I've lived in both the US and France, and I know how to tailor language lessons for the learning style of my students.

It's important to me that my students enjoy the lessons, but also feel like they've learned something. For a small child, being able to talk about their favorite color, animals, and ask to go to the toilet may be enough. Older students might want to have correct spelling and grammar, while learning how to speak naturally.
