About Matthieu
I’m a French semi-professional tennis player and former NCAA Division 1 team captain, now pursuing my Master’s at UIC in Chicago. I won the Southland Conference championship and have competed at a high level for years, both in France and the US.
Growing up between Paris and the US, I’ve been playing tennis since childhood. Competing at NCAA Division 1 level taught me discipline, resilience, and how to perform under pressure, as team captain, I also learned how to communicate clearly and adapt to different personalities, which I bring into every lesson.
Beyond the results, what drives me is helping others improve, whether that’s a total beginner finding their first rhythm on court or an experienced player refining specific weaknesses. I’m patient, structured, and genuinely invested in your progress. You can expect punctuality, clear communication, and lessons built around your specific goals, not a generic program.
