French "je ne sais quoi" I have it! you can have it

I have been having French tuition from Dorothee for about three years now. Having used French on business in the past to a reasonable standard, I wanted to resurrect my knowledge and pronunciation of French so as not to lose it.
Choosing Dorothee for my teacher I couldn't have made a more rewarding decision. Her enthusiasm and thoroughness have been both refreshing, helpful and enjoyable.

Her novel approach in is to cover each grammatical subject, whether it be the subjunctive mood or the use of pronouns, in appealing detail. Just when you sigh in relief thinking a subject is dealt with, she will go back on it to make really sure that you have understood it.

Her approach to teaching the French language is enthusiastic and creative, whilst at the same time being thorough in the detail of the language.
The way in which she teaches is very structured, based on modules of grammar.
These are not taught ‘ parrot fashion ‘, but in a lively way, such that over time your retention level is higher than it would be learning by rote.
Without you realising it, she backtracks on the said grammar modules, which ensures that these gradually become embedded in your memory.
Throughout the whole process, she develops your self-confidence in reading, pronunciation and speaking French.
