About Jean

I am a French native. I was raised in France and studied there from Primary School to the University La Sorbonne France. I have a French Baccalaureate A2 (French literature, Philosophy, English and Spanish).
After my DEUG from Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne, I moved to London where I gained a Bachelor in Modern Languages.
Finally, come next year, I will be doing a PGCE to become a fully qualified teacher.

About the lesson

The experience I gained by teaching is to adapt my teaching skills to the student level or needs. I always listen to the student, ask them questions about which area they are facing difficulties.
For having taught before with La Jolie Ronde UK, I acquired multiple methodologies such as Grammar-Translation Method, by focusing on explicit rules of grammar. Emphasises reading comprehension and written accuracy over spontaneous conversation.
Links physical movement and gestures to spoken commands and vocabulary.
Able to teach French from Primary School to A level or above.
