About Emmanuelle

I'm Emmanuelle, I am a native French speaker and have lived in France for 40 years before moving to England in 2018. I am a mum of 4 and have taught them how to write and read French while living in a different country. I led a French club in a primary school and I now give French lessons to bilingual children

About the lesson

For children in primary school I've got lots of supports and games to practise French in a fun way.
I'm also using the Montessori method to work on grammar.
For GCSE and A-level students, I will follow your needs in order to improve your French skills.
I can teach online or in person around Haywards Heath.

Perfect! The lessons, whilst structured and focused allow for lots of flexibility which I find really helpful. Emmanuelle is excellent at adapting lessons to explore something that crops up which I want to understand, often deviating off-topic, but always progressing and improving my French! Thank you Emmanuelle!

It's a pleasure to teach and speak French with Olivia. She's really good and interested in becoming more fluent, that's really nice.

Emmanuelle is a a wonderfully flexible tutor, adapting every lesson to deal with the particular grammar / vocab / sentence structure or phrases that I find challenging. She always has a solid lesson plan but the tangents we go off on are equally useful and always engaging. She has a lovely manner and is very supportive and encouraging. It is always best to learn from a native speaker! Highly recommend Emmanuelle!

Emmanuelle is a dear family friend and an amazing and devoted mum of four. She tutored my daughter Elena during her IB in French during the past two years. Emmanuelle is passionate about teaching and child development and this is evident in her methodical approach and the great exam results we got recently! Her style is always open and well paced and she is very creative in the way she engages with her students. Highly recommend!

Emmanuelle is a fantastic French tutor who really helped me with my French A-level and GCSE exams. She is patient, encouraging, and explains things clearly. She has the ability to recognise which aspects of learning you need most help with at any given time, and that is a talent in any educator. She kept me engaged with different resources and conversations, while always creating a supportive environment where I felt comfortable asking questions. She was consistently available to offer help and discuss ideas, and I would highly recommend her to any student looking to improve their French.
