About Cornelia
I am currently an exchange French lecturer at the University of Chicago, I am teaching French to students who entered class with a minimal grammatical base. I have been giving private lessons since 2016. I have a degree in Humanities (Licence de Lettres et Sciences Humaines) and in Linguistics (Master de Sciences du Langage).

I am passionate about French, and for that reason I decided to specialize in French for my Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and in the teaching of French as a foreign language for my Master of Arts in Language Sciences. I helped many foreign students to improve their French. In general, I like to create my own material for my students and to answer to their needs, but I am using learning books and exercises too (for example: Comme on dit, Première année de français). Every course is different, because I am trying to conform to the expectations of my students.
