About Tessa
I have 9 years of experience teaching French and helping learners improve their communication skills and confidence. I hold a Master’s Degree in French Linguistics, which provided me with deep knowledge of language structure, pronunciation, and usage. Over the years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and supported their progress through structured and engaging lessons.
My teaching style is simple, patient, and focused on clarity. I believe French should be learned through regular practice and real communication. I break down complex concepts into smaller steps and use clear examples to make learning easier. I encourage students to speak regularly and build confidence gradually through consistent effort and guided practice.
I continue to improve my teaching methods and stay updated with modern language learning techniques. Teaching French is meaningful to me because I see learners grow in confidence and communication ability over time. My goal is to support students in building strong language skills, confidence, and comfort so they can communicate effectively and continue learning with long-term success and interest.

French becomes easier when learners use it actively instead of only focusing on rules and memorization. In my lessons, I focus on pronunciation, sentence structure, listening skills, and conversation practice. I explain each concept in simple English so students can understand clearly and apply it step by step. I include activities such as guided conversations, listening exercises, and roleplay to make learning practical and engaging. This helps learners connect the language with real-life situations. I create a supportive and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking and improving without hesitation.
Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and goals. Beginners focus on basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple sentence formation. Intermediate learners work on grammar accuracy, conversation flow, and listening ability. Advanced students focus on fluency, expression, and real-life communication. I provide structured practice, feedback, and corrections to support steady improvement. This approach helps learners grow consistently and build strong confidence in using the language.
As students continue learning, they become more confident in speaking and understanding French. They begin to communicate naturally in everyday situations.
