About Elisa

I am a friendly, sociable and positive person who is always happy to meet new people and discover new things.

I love travelling, discovering new cultures and learning about the world around me. I also have a real love for animals and enjoy spending time with them.

I particularly enjoy teaching because I love sharing my knowledge and seeing students gain confidence and make progress. I am always in a good mood and I like creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere where students feel comfortable speaking French and making mistakes.

For me, learning a language should be an enjoyable experience, and I love making my lessons as fun, interactive and engaging as possible!

About the lesson

I am a French native speaker and a French Language Assistant at NSB in Northampton, with a Master’s degree in Primary Education (Master MEEF – 1 degree) from France.

I offer personalised French lessons adapted to each student’s age, level and goals. My teaching approach is interactive, supportive and focused on building confidence.
**My lessons are taught entirely in French, whenever appropriate for the student’s level, to create a full immersion experience and help students develop their listening, speaking and comprehension skills naturally.**

I use a variety of activities such as conversations, games, stories, reading, pronunciation exercises, vocabulary and grammar work to make lessons engaging and enjoyable.

For younger learners, I aim to make French fun and accessible through games, stories and age-appropriate activities. For older students, I can provide structured support with grammar, written work, speaking skills and exam preparation, including GCSE-level French.

Lessons typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student’s age and needs. I adapt the pace and content of each lesson to help students build confidence and make steady progress.

Whether your child is a complete beginner, needs additional support at school, or simply wants to improve their French, I would be happy to help them develop their skills and confidence through a friendly, engaging and immersive approach.
