The American Council of Teaching Foreign Languages says that it takes 480 hours of study to fully master the French language. That's a lot, and you could probably have a decent level for many fewer hours, I would say around...
300.
Let's face it: French is a complex language, and learning it is a long and often bumpy road, even though it is well worth the effort. But know that by taking a Native French tutor you are doing the most important thing to cut down this time dramatically!

My name is Léa and I grew up in Paris, home of both the French Academy AND the baguette. A perfect match to learn French language and culture at the same time!

I finished my BA at the Sorbonne in Paris, and I am currently an MA student at King's College London.

I have been a passionate tutor for over three years, caring for students of all ages and levels. Over time, I built a strong tutoring experience that allows me to care for each student the best way possible, as way as a very efficient Full French program. At the end of each session, I will send you a PDF, detailed exercises and some vocabulary so that you can work by yourself. I am also a language learner myself, so I will share with you all the best advice you need to know to be as proficient as possible, from study tips to the best language apps out there.

What matters to me is to pass on my passion for the French language onto you. I will get you to your dream level in a pressure-free and stimulating environment. So that you can finally be super fluent in French while enjoying your lessons.

I have a French Baccalaureate in Humanities and Literary Studies, majoring in Languages (English), obtained with the "mention Très Bien", equivalent to a grade of A.
I then obtained a degree from the Sorbonne and Warwick University in Humanities and English Language and Literature, and I am now a Master's Student at King's College London (MA in Shakespeare Studies).

Lea was a very skilled French teacher when she taught me the basics of French. Her lesson plans are very well made, detailed and informative and especially help with grammar in particular.Her lessons were always well timed and by the end of each one I felt that I'd gained a better understanding of the language as a whole. She also offers lots of help if you find any part of her teaching difficult, going over it as much as it takes so that you properly understand the concepts rather than just memorising them.
She also speaks Polish and Spanish which will be helpful to other people.
