About Anais

Salut! I’m an Italian-French native with a French degree and a passion for languages. Growing up trilingual (Italian, French, and Provencal dialect), I developed a "natural" ear for linguistics that I now use to help my students succeed. Having studied Russian and English myself, I understand the hurdles of learning a new language. My approach focuses on real-world interaction. Since 2019, I’ve helped students of all ages in the UK gain the confidence to speak like locals and I love seeing the results and joy that it brings to people. Let's start speaking today!

About the lesson

Based on my experiences with languages, I believe the hardest part is the transition from "studying" to "speaking." That is why my lessons are communication-led. We don't just memorize lists; we simulate real-world scenarios that prepare you for travel, work, and connection. By beginning each session with an organic conversation, I can identify your specific areas for improvement and target those 'tricky points' with tailored corrections and activities to make it more fun and interactive. Learning languages shouldn't be boring as they allow us to travel and discover the world!

Perfect! I have really enjoyed my first two lessons with Anais. One of my main issues learning French is lack of confidence, but she put me at ease quickly and removes any awkwardness! She corrects my mistakes and helps me if I struggle to find the right word, but encourages me to continue speaking. She really listened to what I wanted to get out of my French lessons and prepared lesson plans to help me achieve my goals. 10/10 would recommend Anais as a tutor!

Perfect! Anais is a very good tutor and very easy to talk to. I have been enjoying getting back to speaking French with her. She was able to assess my level well and has adapted the lessons to what I want to learn. The lessons are a good mix of grammar and conversation and are always enjoyable.
