About Laura
I live in London as a Dutch creative and besides being a freelance photographer I am also a guest lecturer at the university where I teach photography and visual arts. I have a Bachelor in Photography (graduated cum laude) and am now in my first year of my Photography Art Masters.

About the lesson

After an introductory meeting, we will start with targeted lessons and assignments to further develop your personal interests and skills. Depending on your motivation and background - from hobby to advanced - the lessons are tailored to your wishes and needs.
In a typical session we discuss and develop various themes and topics, analysing a variety of artists and art movements to generate new ideas and gain inspiration for your own work and projects. Through experiments and creative workshops you will be introduced to new possibilities and techniques that will broaden your artistic vision, knowledge and insight.
As a mentor I also provide support and advice in finding, refining, presenting and describing your unique style, building a professional portfolio and network, designing a creative resume, freelance marketing strategies (website, social media, etc.) and getting to grips with your imaging equipment (camera) and editing softwares such as Photoshop.
