About Kim
I enjoy working with children either one-on-one or in small groups where assistance can be tailored to specific needs. As I teach foundation phase on a daily basis, tutoring would be a continuation of my day - I am more than equipped and skilled to assist young learners.
I believe in never raising my voice and establishing a bond with each child so that we are able to work together as a team.
Building confidence in abilities is a priority. I find that once we have that, the learning just flows.

Children struggle so much with a second language - I see it in the classroom every day. Therefore, I really understand the core skills that need to be developed first. I will work on vocabulary and klanke skills. This will assist your child in their reading and writing skills to follow.
We'll use stories, pictures and textbook as secondary resources, prioritising conversation and the spoken language.
I'm happy to use your child's school books or bring along my own.
