About Arsh

I have completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Melbourne majoring in Finance and Actuarial Studies. I achieved a first class honours in my degree and completed a vast variety of subjects in Finance.

Some of the subjects that I have successfully tutored in the past are:

With a lot of practical experience in Finance and Economics, I help my students understand complex concepts with simple real life examples from the stock market, corporate finance and business activity.

I have been a tutor for more than an year and over this period I have helped students achieve their full potential with multiple cases of students going from a failing grade to a first class honours.

About the lesson

Students who struggle in finance usually complain about hundreds of concepts/ ratios that you have to keep in mind or the complicated mathematical calculations involved. My teaching style gives a simple fix for all of this. It involves:
>breaking everything down to its very basics.
>focus on clarity of concepts
>helping the student develop the creativity to visualize problems.
>equipping the student with skills and knowledge that would help them in future subjects as well.

I am well-equipped to assist my students in the mathematical skills required in Finance (given my Actuarial major).
I strongly believe that following these methodologies would ensure that my students would never have to fret about grades again.

My lesson structure would be half an hour of conceptual teaching and then another half an hour of practical case studies/ numerical practice and interaction with the student. However, this is alterable to suit the needs of the student as one size does not fit all.

Perfect! To say that Arsh is a phenomenal tutor would be an understatement. Not only is he intelligent but he possesses both the sincerity and patience that many of his fellow tutors lack. Though knowing the content is important as a tutor, being able to convey and teach this content is most critical and this is where Arsh more than excels. Anybody can tutor a subject, but only a select few can tutor a subject in a way that all can understand.
