About Trevor
Hey! My name is Trevor Huebner. I am 23 years old, and have been playing chess since I was 5 years old. I have competed in multiple tournaments at both the local and state level. For many years, I spent hours at the library every Saturday playing the game. I love the way chess challenges my mind, and whether you are a casual player or interested in competition, I want you to love it too!
I've lost count of how many people I've introduced to the game over the years, whether casually or during legitimate lessons. I've received many hours of lessons myself from master and grandmaster level players, and I'm looking forward to passing that knowledge on!

• Chess is one of the oldest games in the world. In my 18 years of experience I have found chess to be a fun, challenging way of exercising the mind in strategy, problem solving, and planning.
• I use multiple approaches to teach the game, including fun puzzles, positional analysis, and gameplay practice. I teach gameplay basics, positional and tactical play, and any other skills that will give you the edge over your opponent on the board.
• I have been teaching chess for well over a decade and am comfortable teaching from beginners all the way up to intermediate level tournament players.
