About Gerard
Did you know that the word “their” is actually pronounced “there” and not “they-ar”? Many of us in Malaysia make that mistake because English is not our first language. Would it not be great if we could get our pronunciation correct when we speak to others? As a radio and TV host and international documentary producer for HISTORY CHANNEL, I know the importance of good pronunciation and grammar. I will gladly teach you these easy basics and more, if you join my class.

We need to learn English not just to pass exams but to be able to speak to others. Also, read books, social media sharing, understand video games, watch fun TV shows and just about everything that we need to do by listening, speaking and writing. So learning English is so important.
In my lessons, I use fun examples – e.g we learn grammar and vocabulary by reading some lines from a Harry Potter novel or listen to lines from a HP movie. Or even better, we write our own script! There will be lots of fun ways that we will learn English not just from text books or worksheets. Or just play a fun game of SCRABBLE!
My lesson are normally 1 – 1.5 hours each.
I’m a qualified former government school teacher having taught English, Maths, Science for Yr 6 – Form 5 for about 10 years.
My lessons are for those of you in Yr.3 – Form 3.
