About Robyn
Hello, I'm Robyn! I am a former Wesleyan University professor in design & engineering and more recently a project manager at Columbia Medical School. I earned my PhD and MS from UC San Diego and earned my BS from Columbia University.
I have over ten years of experience advising high school, undergraduate, and graduate students on their educational and career journeys. This has included being a faculty advisor to undergraduates at Wesleyan University, a graduate advisor for the UC San Diego Summer Training Academy for Research Success, and an alumni mentor for the Sloan Scholars Fellowship Program. I have helped students successfully navigate the complexities of the higher education system, make informed decisions on their own educational paths, and set and reach both short- and long-term goals. Many students I've worked with have gone on to their top choices in undergraduate and graduate programs, received competitive scholarships/fellowships, and otherwise achieved their educational goals.

I truly enjoy working with students to help them realize their best! I deeply value the input of the students I work with because I think every student brings something unique and valuable to the table. So, in working with them, I always make a point to get to know students personally, meet them where they are, highlight their strengths to help them find success and gain confidence, and help them enjoy the learning process.
I am able to help students at all stages of the admissions process for both undergraduate college applicants and STEM masters and PhD applicants. This can include areas such as: early goal setting and course/activity planning, school selection, application coaching, personal statements, research statements, resumes, interview practice.
