About Sharesa
I’m a proud mom to a kindergartner, a former elementary teacher, and an event producer who has always had a passion for creating meaningful experiences. I love traveling and making memories with my family, and becoming a mom has given me an entirely new perspective on childhood, learning, and education.
After spending six years as an elementary educator, I transitioned into the events industry, where I now work as an event producer. While I love what I do, watching my son begin his own educational journey has reignited something very special in me—the passion I’ve always had for teaching and helping children learn with confidence.
Seeing the excitement, curiosity, and challenges that come with those early school years reminded me just how important a strong educational foundation can be. It inspired me to return to what I love: helping children discover their potential and develop a genuine love for learning.
As a tutor, I bring together my experience as an educator, my Montessori-inspired teaching approach, and my perspective as a mom. I strive to create lessons that are engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each child's individual needs.
My goal is simple: to make learning feel exciting, build confidence, and help every child feel proud of what they can accomplish.

As an elementary Montessori teacher, my teaching approach is student-centered, hands-on, and individualized. I believe children learn best when they are given the opportunity to explore, make choices, and develop a genuine understanding of concepts rather than simply memorizing information.
I incorporate Montessori principles and materials, multisensory activities, guided practice, repetition, and real-world connections into my lessons. For Reading and Writing, I focus on phonics, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, grammar, sentence structure, creative writing, and building confidence as an independent reader and writer. I carefully observe each student to identify their strengths and areas for growth, then adapt my instruction accordingly.
A typical lesson begins with a brief warm-up or review to connect the student to previously learned material. I then introduce the day's concept through a clear, engaging mini-lesson or Montessori-inspired activity.
Students are given time to practice the skill independently while I provide guidance, questions, and support when needed. I encourage students to explain their thinking and discover answers rather than immediately giving them the solution.
For Reading, a lesson may include phonics or vocabulary practice, guided reading, comprehension questions, and discussion. For Writing, we may work on grammar, sentence construction, paragraph organization, or creative writing.
I end each lesson with a review and reflection, allowing the student to share what they learned and identify what they would like to continue practicing.
What sets me apart is my combination of six years of elementary teaching experience, Montessori methodology, and a genuine understanding of how young children learn. I create a warm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I meet each child at their individual level and adjust my lessons to their learning style, pace, and academic needs. My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help students develop confidence, independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
My lessons are designed primarily for elementary-aged students, particularly children in Lower Elementary (approximately ages 6–9 / Grades 1–3). I specialize in supporting students with Reading and Writing, including early literacy, phonics, reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and written expression.
I also work with students who may benefit from additional academic reinforcement, individualized instruction, homework support, or preparation for the next grade level. Each lesson can be tailored to the student's current academic level and specific learning goals.
