I've been playing a few instruments for 23 years, and finally decided to get into violin. Farobag made me realize that I know next to nothing about the violin, and there is so much to learn. I played only a few notes in my first lesson, but his instruction was worth every penny. I am very excited for the next lesson and look forward to learning everything I can from Farobag. Highly recommended.

Mr. Cooper is an experienced teacher. He teaches piano, violin & vocal from basic to advance level. My son has been taking piano classes from him for the past 3+ years. He loves to go to Mr. Cooper's classes. The foremost quality in Mr. Cooper is that he seeks perfection and tries to imbibe the same in his students. He encourages all his students to perform their best and is extremely patient in dealing with his students. Mr. Cooper lets me sit in my son's lessons and I got my 101 on classical music with these sessons. I can appreciate what my son plays and also now able to appreciate classical music in general.
Mr. Cooper encourages all his students to participate in IMA annual contests and puts a lot of effort in preparing his students for the same.

Mr. Cooper is one of the best teachers that I know. I am a slow learner and he would teach me things over and over again until I understand. Overall, he is a great teacher and I would recommend him if you need help on math.

My son (eight years old) has been taking piano lessons from Mr. Cooper for one year now and has made great improvement in his piano playing. With Mr. Cooper, he is just not learning to play, but also learning to add emotion to his playing, having musicality. Mr. Cooper has been extremely patient with my son even during times when I know my son is getting frustrated or losing focus. It is evident that Mr. Cooper loves what he does and shares that passion with his students. I highly recommend Mr. Cooper! I’m even thinking about adding voice lessons for my son with Mr. Cooper if our schedule permits.

Farobag Homi Cooper is a very educated person, and spends a lot of time being sure that he has all the details straight on any given situation. He is a fine educator and has been very generous about helping me to understand many things about estate planning which I would never have known, and his knowledge has been instrumental in my planning process. I also find his integrity is beyond question.

Great math tutor. Brushed up on math skills I hadn't used in years.
Before working with this tutor I did not believe I had a very good chance of doing well on the math portion of the GRE. I have been out of college for almost ten years and although I did well in math, had not been using those skills in my daily life. During the lessons Farobag presented a series of challenging math problems for me to solve. Some of them I was completely stumped on, but he would give me enough hints to solve them on my own so when I see them on the test I will know how to solve them. He gave me some important formulas to memorize for the test. The scores I am getting on my practice tests are much higher then they were before and I am now confident that I will be able to get a decent score on the exam. Farobag is also very patient. There was a time when I missed an appointment and we just rescheduled. He is very flexible when it comes to scheduling.

Farobag Cooper excels with the student who has played the piano over a period of years. Fingering, for example, is adjusted to fit the player's hands rather than the proscribved notations of the publisher. Interpretation is noted and practiced at every moment of the composition often by the instructor then followed by the student. Perhaps what sets Farobag apart is his manner of conducting as one performs. It is a feeling like being in an orchestra with one's personal conductor. But first mastery of score. Then interpretation. Voila! Music.

Mr. Farobag knows how to teach! If you put in the dedication and motivation, you will get results! He teaches in a way that acknowledges your skill-level, and he remembers(In spite of all the students he has.) what you were working on with him or your previous lesson! He ultimately teaches piano in a way that will help you steadily progress as long as you put in the effort on your part, just all around an amazing teacher.

I am an older student coming back to the piano after many years away. Mr. Cooper is patience yet always encouraging! I have learned so much about music and the importance of fingering! He encourages yet challenges me to go beyond my comfort zone. I would recommend Mr. Cooper to anyone who is looking for a teacher. Farobag is an excellent singing coach who helped me make strides in my singing abilities. You can also tell he really enjoys what he does and is passionate about music and teaching in general.

He has a very deep understanding of musical theory/concepts, as well as the aesthetics of music. Also, his approach isn't overly technical but he makes make it "natural" so to speak

Wow! Mr. Cooper is such a wonerful teacher. After only 5 lessons my daughter has built her range and is learning the importance of breathing. She loves coming to her lesson each week and is pushed in such a kind and positive way. Looking forward to continuing lessons. We can't say enough great things about Farobag!

My two children, an 8 year old boy and 6 year old girl, have been taking paino lessons from Farobag since March 2013. We weren't sure how my son, being all about typical "boy" things would be with paino lessons, however, he has done amazing. I was raised with piano, in that it helps to further coordinate the brains development and how it processes information generally speaking. I can only say that my children cannot appear to take their shoes off as quick as they'd like at the start of each piano lesson. I wanted to find a teacher who would be able to truly reach and further develop my children's musical apptitude to learning. Farobag has truly done that. I almost hesitate to share this information, because my husband and I feel like Farobag is our little secret, that if word gets out we won't be able to get lessons when we want them. However, it is that which we know other parents would love to find for their children and adults. I know he teaches other instruments as well. As a Mom, I truly couldn't be happier. My husband, not having the same upbringing I did with music, wasn't quite sure about piano lessons. However, even he is truly amazed at how much they have learned as well as how eager they are to deomonstrate it. He has seen how much of a benefit it has been for our children.

Wonderful Teacher
A Wonderful Teacher. I am in my fourth year of completing my degree in music education. In the 6 months that I have been taking voice lessons, I have grown a lot. I have learned to project my voice more and be more confident in my singing. Besides learning to be a better singer, Mr. Cooper has also helped me improve upon my aural skills, which has helped me considerably in my school classes and preparing for student teaching. He was very encouraging and would challenge in at least one aspect at every lesson. The music he would provide me to sing was at a comfortable level for me, and was never boring. I enjoyed having Mr. Cooper as a teacher.

I am an older adult student just starting piano. The piano is completely out of my comfort zone, but something I always wanted to learn.
Mr. Cooper has shown extraordinary patience with me. He has a way of teaching and correcting my constant errors that doesn't make me feel foolish. I get frustrated that it isn't coming easily, but I always leave class feeling optimistic about my future mastering the piano.
If Mr. Cooper can teach me I believe he can teach anyone.

I can not describe my level of admiration and respect for Farobag. He is a great teacher, very much in sync with his inner child and therefore a perfect teacher. Hard to imagine he giving up of any of his students no matter how hard at times teaching appears to be

Farobag's passion for teaching is outstanding and even through the new technology can influence the student. Cyrus cautiously is warming up to the teachings of Farobag and I have a great hope and belief that will imprint his memory in a positive way for years to come. Mr. Farobag provides piano lessons for my teenage daughter. She has been working with him for about 10 months. Since she started working with Farobag, her love for playing piano has grown, and her skills have improved exponentially. In addition to his obvious talents, he is professional, patient, and also very flexible with scheduling. He has a genuine interest in seeing his students learn and improve. I would highly recommend him for anyone interested in taking lessons. He also has a strong background in math, and has offered to tutor my 3 children, if needed. We may be calling upon him soon for that!

Mr. Cooper is an extremely talented, knowledgeable, and respectful teacher. Being taught by him is such a positive experience because of his caring, sincere personality. Mr. Cooper goes above and beyond the expectations of a music coach by having such a contagious passion for music. Mr. Cooper has assisted me in becoming a more educated singer in ways I never had imagined possible. It is evident that he truly fine tunes each lesson to fit your individual needs. Both my daughters age 7 and age 10 have been taking lessons with Mr. Cooper for almost 2 years. We cannot say enough good things about him. Specifically, my older daughter has had 3 other teachers before Mr. Cooper, but has progressed leaps and bounds since starting with Mr. Cooper. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a perfectionist, and I find that my daughters are always eager to go to lessons, and more importantly to practice throughout the week!

Mr. Farobag has taught our boys the piano and violin utilizing the Suzuki method. He is a true gentleman and an amazing teacher. I cannot say enough about him. We have had several instructors and Mr. Farobag far exceeds our expectations. We are very lucky to have found him. Mr. Farobag understands the pace of each child and knows how to motivate the student to exceed his expectations. Hiring Farobag has not only given us a superb instructor but a great teacher as well. He is very intelligent and kind and his lessons can be applied far beyond the keys of the piano. My kids always look forward to seeing Mr. Farobag.

I have had the pleasure of taking vocal lessons from Mr. Cooper for about 2 years now, as well as starting Suzuki piano not too long ago. He is a gifted teacher who truly has a passion for teaching and love for music! Not only has he improved my aural skills, but he has helped me understand music on a much deeper level! My knowledge of technique and overall musicianship has improved drastically while taking lessons with him. Mr. Cooper has challenged me and broadened my musical horizons.
