About Aliya Farakh
I trained in ballet for 15 years and only finished when going to university to study Fine Art, away from home. I miss dancing incredibly and would love to help and support others who share this passion.
I trained and completed grades and had potential to go to dance school but decided to focus on my passion for painting when it came time to decide which path to take.
I have helped support and guide students in class and have also choreographed dances for shows and during my GCSE dance in which I got a distinction. I am trained in tap, modern dance and ballet, with a few years' experience in gymnastics.
I specialised in ballet and have qualifications up to a grade 5, with 15 years of experience.

I will gain an understanding of what you aim to achieve, how long it may take and ways to maintain your progress. These will be simple stretches and exercises you can do easily at home.
These lessons will be 45 minutes to an hour long and are aimed at low grade dancers who need some support on what exercise to do at home to become more flexible and build some strength if needed. Anyone wanting to know more, develop a better routine with stretching and light exercise that can be done at home are also welcome.
For dancers I can provide help on getting positions correct, simple moves you are struggling to grasp, perfecting routines, etc. (for this ballet would be preferred but I am happy to help with any tap, modern or contemporary dancing).
