About Mila

With more than 3 years of teaching French, I bring both expertise and creativity to my lessons. My Graduate Certificate in French-English Translation strengthens my linguistic precision. But my real passion lies in combining language with environmental awareness. Lessons often revolve around ecological challenges facing the planet. Climate change, sustainable living, and conservation are recurring themes. Students explore authentic French media from environmental groups and international organizations. This adds cultural depth and practical vocabulary to their studies. I have had the privilege of teaching globally engaged learners, including professionals in ecology and sustainability. Many come to me seeking language skills to support their work abroad. Together, we create lessons that reflect real professional and global contexts. The result is a classroom that is dynamic, forward-looking, and globally connected. Learning French becomes a way to strengthen both communication skills and ecological awareness. I see every lesson as contributing to a sustainable and collaborative future.

About the lesson

In my lessons, French comes alive through the world around us. I bring in media like articles, interviews, and video reports. These resources allow students to practice reading, listening, and discussing. We talk about current events, analyze perspectives, and build strong communication skills. Expressing opinions and joining respectful debates is encouraged. This keeps learning dynamic and connected to real life. Immigrants and newcomers find practical support for living in French-speaking communities. Professionals benefit from lessons that connect to their careers and international topics. Together, we explore French as both a language and a cultural lens. Each lesson is interactive, motivating, and thought-provoking. I aim to create a space where students feel both challenged and supported. Learning French becomes an exciting journey into ideas and expression.
