About Mollie

I’m Mollie Hollie, a certified coach and mentor for professionals moving from employment into creative entrepreneurship, and I’ve made this leap myself.

I spent years in leadership roles in high-pressure, male-dominated industries, managing teams and learning first-hand how organisations really work. I built businesses alongside that career, and eventually stepped away from traditional employment to create a more creative, self-directed working life. I know the practical side of that transition: the timing, the planning and the structure. I also know the side people talk about less, which is the identity shift, the self-doubt, and the strangeness of having no one else set your direction.

My corporate background means I bring strategy and structure to what can feel like a very uncertain change. I can help you plan your move with the clarity of a leader, while staying true to the creative life you want to build.

My approach is direct, practical and grounded in lived experience. I work with what’s actually in front of you, including your skills, your circumstances, your timeline and your creative vision. Together we map out a path forward that feels both exciting and realistic.

About the lesson

You might already be growing a side project, planning your exit, or recently self-employed and finding your feet. Either way, this is where we turn your decision into a clear, manageable transition.

Moving from employment into creative entrepreneurship takes more than courage. It takes planning, structure, and a new way of seeing yourself. That’s what we focus on here.

What we work on together:

- Getting clear on what you want your creative working life to look like, and what matters most to you in the move
- Planning your transition: timelines, the practical steps, and whether to leap or build on the side first
- Bringing your professional skills across, including leadership, communication and project management, and applying them to your own creative work
- The identity shift from employee to creative entrepreneur: confidence, self-trust and owning your new direction
- Creating structure and accountability when there’s no boss, no deadlines and no one else setting the agenda
- Working through the doubts, fears and setbacks that come up along the way

My methodology:
I draw on life coaching and career transition frameworks, strategic planning and mindset work, combined with my own experience moving from corporate leadership into a creative, self-directed working life. This isn’t motivational talk. It’s practical, structured support for one of the biggest changes you’ll make.
