About Collin

I first picked up a guitar in 1996 and haven't put it down since. While I was originally self-taught, I have since studied music through The National Guitar Workshop and The Metal Works Institute of Sound and Music Production. I've learned a lot from playing music in bands, having played gigs across Canada. I also work as a recording engineer, and have produced albums for a diverse range of artists. I began teaching guitar lessons in 2003 through the Mississauga Academy of Music and later began my own private tutoring business, most recently making the switch to online guitar lessons.

About the lesson

Welcoming students of all ages and backgrounds, I will tailor the lessons to suit your musical interests and will work with you at the pace you're most comfortable with. I am patient and flexible, very comfortable with open ended song based learning or focused theory discussions, frequently adjusting lessons to fit the needs of the student.
