About Hazel

Having spent eight years immersed in the world of guitar education, working with over 300 students, I understand that each individual's relationship with the instrument is a personal one. About the lesson

Having spent the last eight years teaching guitar to over 300 students, I've developed a deep appreciation for the unique potential within each individual. My teaching style is adaptable and student-centered, focusing on their specific goals and learning preferences. I believe in establishing a solid foundation in fundamental guitar techniques, including chord changes, scales, and rhythmic accuracy. However, I also understand the importance of making learning enjoyable and relevant by incorporating the music that resonates with each student.

Whether their passion lies in the intricate melodies of classical guitar, the raw energy of rock, or the improvisational freedom of jazz, I tailor my lessons accordingly. I also emphasize the development of a strong musical ear, incorporating ear training exercises to enhance their ability to understand and play music by ear. My greatest reward is witnessing the growth of my students, not just as guitarists but as confident and expressive musicians.
