About Marah
I recently graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a Bachelor of Music degree, emphasis in Flute Performance. Since beginning my flute studies at age 9, I have participated in many ensembles, solo performances, and competitions, as well as taught private flute lessons. I am prepared to assist you in learning and refining fundamentals of playing the flute, as well as learning new pieces and helping you prepare for performances or auditions.

I believe music lessons should be a fun, educational, and empowering experience for the student. My goal is to create a safe and positive environment of growth where students can learn and develop their abilities as flutists. musicians, and people. A big part of this process is getting to know my students and meeting them where they are in terms of their experience and goals. I expect students to practice assigned materials during the week and come prepared to every lesson to play, ask questions, and receive feedback and instruction. I am happy to work with flutists of all ages and experience levels, ranging from total beginner to advanced player. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge of this incredible instrument with others!
