About Mariam
I am 18 years old, that has been playing the flute since I was 7. Under the guidance of award winning teachers, I have become a skilled player, performing solos in concerts and beatboxing with a flute ensemble. I want to instill the same sense of admiration and commitment to fellow flute players, whether they are working towards a professional career in music or want to improve their playing so that they can have the freedom to play any piece they wish.
I have been taught under the English system of alphabetical notation and British terminology, but as music is of course a universal language, I am able to teach anyone who wants to learn.

I absolutely love teaching others the beauty of flute playing. By mastering the right technique, and playing a range of repertoire, you will work our way up to becoming a confident and skilled player. After learning about your strengths and weaknesses, we will create a set of goals to work towards, from increasing your playing range, improving your tone or learning to play a duet.
The most important focus of our lesson is that you feel that you have learnt something new, so that each time you play you feel like a better player with than the time before.
I can play for you as an example, you can play for me to show me what you have learnt and we can play together to boost your confidence and create a beautiful sound.
