About Pierce
I am a fluent Irish speaker currently working towards my Bachelor's degree in Post-Primary education to be a French and Irish teacher. I am very passionate about the Irish language, very knowledgeable on the subject, and am a kind, approachable, and patient person, which means you will feel safe to make mistakes in my lessons and to make leaps and bounds in your Irish skills

I will usually begin with figuring out where you are with Irish; what you know, what your goals are, and cater each lesson to the needs of the learner. I will also use various techniques to assess where you are, where you need to go and use feedback to inform how we will get you there, to fill in gaps on your language-learning adventure.
I will set clear learning intentions and lesson outcomes for each lesson so that you know what the main areas of focus are for that lesson.
Most of all, my lessons will be a safe place to make mistakes (as the most beneficial learning happens thanks to mistakes!), flex your language muscles, and build your confidence with the language.
