About Abdellah
I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic French tutor who is fluent in French and passionate about helping students become more confident with the language.
I understand that learning a language can sometimes feel intimidating, particularly when it comes to speaking. My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and practising their French without pressure.
I adapt my lessons to each student's individual level and goals, whether they need help with GCSE preparation, grammar, vocabulary, speaking or simply want to become more confident using French.
I am committed to making lessons engaging, clear and useful, while helping students make steady progress and develop skills they can use both inside and outside the classroom.

I take a friendly and personalised approach to teaching French, adapting each lesson to the student's ability and goals. As a fluent French speaker, I place a strong emphasis on developing confidence in speaking and understanding the language naturally, while also working on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and writing.
Lessons usually last 1-2 hours and can include a mixture of conversation, grammar exercises, vocabulary practice and GCSE-style questions. I aim to make lessons interactive and encourage students to actively use French rather than simply memorising answers.
I have experience helping students with French and am particularly confident in supporting students with speaking and conversational skills. I can also help students prepare for GCSE assessments, improve their written French and develop their overall confidence with the language.
My lessons are primarily aimed at KS3 and GCSE students, approximately ages 11–16, from beginners through to more advanced students who want to strengthen their French and prepare for their exams.
