About Jayne
As a flute tutor with more than 6 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their musical ambitions. I work with school children, college students, and working professionals who want quality training.
My teaching method focuses on posture alignment, breath control, tone consistency, finger accuracy, and rhythm clarity. I combine practical learning with music theory, scale exercises, improvisation basics, and ear training to create well-rounded musicians. I provide organized lesson plans and regular feedback for steady improvement.
My special strength is building performance confidence and helping students overcome nervousness during concerts and exams. I believe music education should develop creativity and discipline together.

My teaching methodology for flute is structured around Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity.
Each student is unique, so I tailor my teaching to match their learning style. I carefully assess their strengths and challenges before designing personalized lesson plans. I use demonstrations, listening exercises, written notes, and practical drills to support different learners.
I focus strongly on fundamentals such as correct posture, breathing techniques, embouchure formation, tone development, scale practice, rhythm accuracy, articulation control, and expressive phrasing. I ensure students build a solid technical base before moving to advanced repertoire.
Flexibility helps me adapt sessions based on progress and goals. Whether preparing for exams, competitions, or performances, I adjust practice plans accordingly.
Collaboration is encouraged through open discussions and shared goal-setting. Students are guided to reflect on their playing and suggest improvements. I also include duet playing and ensemble-style exercises when possible.
Positivity keeps motivation high. I create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel confident to experiment and improve.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, basic harmony concepts, sight-reading, and performance skills to give students a complete musical education.
