About Mette
Hi!
My name is Mette and I am a 28-year-old vocal coach, singer and composer. I have for as long as I remember had a real passion for singing and have for more than 15 years been working intensively towards being the best singer I could be! Now that I have finished my formal studies at Leeds College of music, I love to teach what I have learned, and am passioned about. I Currently teach at Tom Ball Live Academy in Leeds, and privately in York, alongside performing with original music and as a backing vocalist for Lilacs Daughter.
I have explored a great range of genres including pop, folk, jazz, musicals and classical in my vocal tuition. This has lead me to study a range of vocal techniques including: "Complete Vocal Technique", "Anne Rosing Technique" and "Primal sounds".
I believe that it is important to have the right chemistry with your tutor, so feel free to ask as many questions to ensure that I am the right tutor for you!

With her love for expression through music and compassion for people wanting to learn, she tailors each lesson to the individual student beautifully.
