About Paul
I’m a dedicated flamenco guitar player with over 20 years experience.
I have studied and trained with teachers based in Seville, Spain both online and in person.
My teachers have given me a thorough and very deep appreciation of Flamenco which I share with you.
They have given me a strong connection to authentic flamenco styles and methods. This influence shapes both my playing and my teaching.

Lessons will focus on building a strong foundation in compás (rhythm), technique, and musical expression.
You will learn small melodies from common Flamenco repertoire that are not difficult to play. You will develop the skill the use of the thumb, in flowing arpeggios, finger picking etc.
We also learn various styles of the famous hand rolling techniques which are the hallmark of the Flamenco sound.
Flamenco is a unique and highly expressive art, and I guide you step by step to bring out this artistic and inspiring quality.
