About Paul
I’m a dedicated flamenco guitar player with over 20 years of experience studying and playing the instrument.
I have learned both the solo and the accompaniment styles of Flamenco.
My focus has been on developing a deep understanding of flamenco rhythm (compás), technique, and musicality through consistent practice and ongoing study.
My teachers from Seville, Spain have given me a thorough and very deep appreciation of Flamenco which I look to share with my students.
They have given me a strong connection to authentic flamenco styles and methods. This influence shapes both my playing and my teaching.
Alongside playing, I have experience teaching beginner students and enjoy helping people start from zero and build solid fundamentals step by step.
Flamenco is profound and very artistic both visually and musically. And it takes time to learn the intricacies of it. Though at each step you will enjoy the learning process.
I’m patient, detail-oriented, and I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace and goals.
My aim is to make flamenco approachable while respecting its depth and tradition.
Whether you’re completely new or coming from another guitar background, I’ll guide you in a clear and structured way.

My approach to teaching flamenco guitar focuses on building a strong foundation in compás (rhythm), technique, and musical expression from the very beginning. Flamenco is a unique tradition, so I guide students step by step to understand not just how to play, but how the music works.
I have studied flamenco guitar for over 20 years and trained with teachers based in Seville, Spain both online and in person. I bring that authentic approach into lessons while adapting it to each student’s level and goals.
