About Poppy
My name is Poppy, I am 19 years old, and currently an undergraduate university student studying Psychology. I have a strong interest in forensic and developmental psychology, which began during my time studying these disciplines at school. Previously, I worked as a swimming teacher and volunteered during Sixth Form to tutor GCSE students in person. These experiences helped me to develop my communication and teaching skills. I consider myself kind, approachable, and eager to support students in a comfortable, stress-free environment, helping them to maximise their potential.

As a secondary school student, I achieved A's in both Physical Education and Psychology. I was a PE subject captain, and would help tutor students voluntarily during my lunch breaks. At A Level, I studied AQA psychology, and my optional modules were Forensic Psychology, Relationships, and Schizophrenia. I have great passions in both fields, which has led me to study Psychology at a Russell Group university. I have only done tutoring from a voluntary position, but now wish to help nurture and teach those who need extra support with their studies. I take sessions up to 1h at a time, and work on a flexible basis. My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A Level students, aged 14-18.
