About Aidan
I have a level 8 batchelor of arts in education Irish and Business degree from Mary Immaculate College. I’ve given leaving certificate grinds on all aspects of the course including grammar over the past few years and can supply phone numbers for past students as a reference as well as head of college and co operating teachers during my college teaching placements.

My idea of an ideal class incorporates the four skills of the language, listening, writing, reading and speaking to give the student a more holistic approach to the language. I relate the topics and vocabulary covered as much as possible to every day examples. For example when covering sport or pastimes, I’d play a snippet of GAA beo from TG4 and pick out phrases. Then use the most suitable phrases for the students individually and work with them to relate sports/pastimes to themselves. I would organise the students into groups or pairs and allow them to quiz and answer each other with questions.
