About Penny
I am a first-generation college student who has navigated the educational system without prior guidance, which has given me a unique perspective and drive to help others. I completed community college in just two years before graduating with honors from a four-year university with a BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I am now a second-year graduate student pursuing my Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology, set to graduate in May 2026, with plans to also become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Throughout my journey, I’ve gained valuable experience navigating scholarships, grants, financial aid, and other funding opportunities, and I understand firsthand the challenges students face in these areas. My academic background, personal experiences, and passion for helping others allow me to provide practical guidance and support to students navigating their own educational paths.
