About Eliott

Hi, my name is Eliott and I am a recent Economics graduate. At 21 years old I feel like I can understand where students are coming from completing GCSE/A-Level studies (did them myself not too long ago!).

I recently graduated from York university and am working as an Actuarial.

Being a former foster-carer with my family I’ve always felt a connection to work with others and would love to put my knowledge of economics into practice and help students achieve the best grade they can!

About the lesson

Being a recent Economics graduate I understand study… and ironically Economics.

I have an adaptable approach to tuition, tailoring my plans to each of my students needs, as I understand study is personal to each individual.

Patience, comfortability, and discipline are my three key words to defeating study. I would ensure all my students develop these principles through engaging and challenging lessons, as we try to get the best grade we can!

I would do our first lesson free, simply to get to know my student and their individual needs, building a rapport is also key.

I first came into contact with Eliott at the beginning of year 12, as I was searching for a competent, charismatic and knowledgeable tutor to guide me through my A-Level in Economics. Throughout GCSE, I had always tried different tutors, however no one compared to Eliott’s unique teaching style and in depth knowledge of a subject. Eliott was able to guide me through my A - Level Economics with various support techniques and comprehendible study regimes which led the path to me achieving a grade A* in the subject. Me and Eliott got on from the get go like a house on fire and the unique advice I received throughout his tuition was invaluable and I’ll always be grateful. The proof is in the pudding with Eliott. Being one of the highest achievers in his cohort at the University of York Demonstrates how competent he is as a tutor. My advice to anyone who feels like they need that extra boost is to most definitely get in touch with Eliott. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve had lots of tutors for lots of different subjects, but Eliott is by far the best teacher I’ve ever had.

The truth is I would not have passed my exams and done as well as I did if it wasn’t for him.

My Economics grade went from D to A*
My Maths grade went from E to A

He explains things in ways my school teachers never did. He went above and beyond to help me in any way possible.

I’m a slow learner and often need things repeated, but Eliott explained things as many times as I needed till I understood it, which I can’t say for my other teachers.

I would highly recommend him to anyone!
