About Douglas

I’m a First Class LLB (Scots Law) graduate from the University of Strathclyde, and I’m passionate about helping students become more confident in their law studies.

Having recently completed my degree, I understand the challenges students face with revision, exam technique and applying legal principles to questions. I particularly enjoy helping students break down difficult topics, identify what is important to know and develop a clear approach to exams.

I offer a friendly and relaxed approach, with lessons tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you need help preparing for an exam, revising a particular topic or understanding an area of law, I aim to make each session practical and useful.

About the lesson

As a First Class Scots Law graduate from the University of Strathclyde, I offer friendly and personalised online support to help students feel more confident with their law studies.

I particularly enjoy helping students with exam preparation, revision and exam technique. I can help you break down difficult topics, identify the key principles and authorities you need to know, practise applying the law to problem questions, and develop clear and effective answers under exam conditions. My aim is not simply to give you the answers, but to help you understand how to approach questions and reach the answer yourself.

I can also provide taught lessons on specific areas of law. If there is a particular topic you are struggling with, I am happy to prepare in advance and create a focused lesson around your course material. This allows the session to be tailored to your syllabus, whether you need help understanding a difficult concept or want to strengthen your knowledge before an assessment.

My lessons are relaxed, supportive and adapted to the individual student. Whether you are looking for regular revision support, help preparing for an upcoming exam, or a one-off session on a particular topic, I will work with you to identify what you need and make the most of our time together.
