About Tihomir
I'm Tiho, and I am currently finishing the last year of my Law degree at Oxford, before starting a career in Commercial Law in London.
Academically, I have had first-class marks in every examination I have taken during the course of my degree, with particular strengths in Criminal, Roman, Constitutional & Administrative, EU, and Trusts law. Prior to starting university, I graduated with an IB Diploma score of 43/45, including top marks in English Literature and History.
Asides from my academic qualifications, I have extensive experience tutoring History, Law, and English from middle-school to IB / A-Levels, as well as some experience tutoring Law to other university students.
From my previous tutoring experience, I have learned how to tailor lessons to the learning style favoured by each student. I generally like to conduct lessons in a conversational style so as to improve the student's understanding in the areas they find the most difficult rather than imposing a lecture-style structure.
Along the same vein, I like to focus on developing the thinking skills crucial to long-term learning and understanding of the relevant subject as well as exam technique, rather than just imparting knowledge in the short term. At the same time, however, I am very adapt at emergency-tutoring for a particular exam.
