About Elena

Hi, I'm Elena, a recent first class graduate in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford. I have been a tutor for over four years teaching Modern Languages (French and Italian) at all levels (from beginners to post-A Level) and English Language and Literature up to A level/IB. I also have experience preparing many students for entrance exams to both public and independent schools including Eton College and Westminster School over the past 4 years, helping them gain the skills necessary to succeed in the 13 plus assessments. I have taught mainly one-on-one online. I also have experience delivering personal statement support to several students and I have also delivered Oxbridge admissions support to several student, helping them from the initial stages through to the MLAT and interviews.

About the lesson

I always take a conscientious and tailored approach to my lessons - having had a wide experience of working with students of different ages and backgrounds I recognise the importance of adapting my teaching style to the goals and the level of my student. I strive to engage my students with interactive lessons, pushing them to develop their knowledge, ask questions and ultimately, achieve their potential.
