I hold a first-class honours in English literature from the University of Glasgow, further receiving the 'Crawford/Neil prize' and 'Alexander Fotheringham Bursary' for best performance in the year. I achieved A* in English literature and English language at both GCSE and A-Level. I am happy to give lessons to students at any level from Nat 5s to Junior Honours undergraduates. I am also very happy to give lessons to students whose first language is not English. I can flexibly tailor the content of lessons to be as instructive or casual relevant to the needs of the student. Whether having extended discussions about exam technique, developing close reading skills, going through past papers or setting extra homework, I can structure lessons to fit a wide variety of styles and needs.
