About Madeleine

I am a first-class graduate from the University of Exeter with a degree in Film and Television Studies. I achieved straight A's in my A levels, including an A in English Literature, an A in Drama and Theatre Studies, and an A* in Film Studies. I have experience working with children ages 4-18.

I aim to make learning fun and engaging, tailoring my approach to fit each student's unique needs. I hope to not only help you achieve your academic goals but also deepen your love for English and Film as I believe that the more you understand a subject and tackle challenging texts, the greater the enjoyment and satisfaction you gain from it!

About the lesson

In my lessons I can offer:
Exam preparation strategies
Exam past papers and mark schemes (11+, 13+, GCSE, A-Level)
Feedback on essays and past papers with close analysis
Interactive discussions to deepen understanding of texts and important techniques
Practical exercises for concept reinforcement
Creative tasks for applying knowledge

My lessons are tailored to individual needs, ensuring a personalised and effective learning experience. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals while growing your love for the subject(s)!
