About Viola
I’m a musician from Italy and grew up playing music from the age of five. From a young age, I discovered that music is an incredible tool for self-expression, connection, and confidence. It has brought me joy, empowerment, and personal growth, and this passion drives me to share music with others, helping students build confidence, creativity, and a love for learning. I recently completed a Master’s in Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and am a Benedetti Foundation Ambassador, excited to collaborate on the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic’s education projects. I also co-founded Cellos for Change, a collective bringing collaborative music-making to displaced and marginalised communities, and have delivered inclusive sessions in SEND schools with Jessie’s Fund. I love ensemble playing, and this has taken me to festivals including the Mourne Chamber Music Festival, Dartington, Buxton International, First Light, and Manchester Classical, as well as international events such as the Vienna World Orchestra Festival, Berlin Opera Academy, Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte, and the Irish Chamber Orchestra Academy.
