About Emma
Since I can remember, I've wanted to teach - cliché maybe, but true! I also travelled and lived abroad a lot as a kid, which gave me my passion for all things language and communication - I needed to get my point across wherever I was in the world! Some things never change!
I went on to study French at Leeds University and lived for a year in the beautiful Champagne-soaked region of Reims, where I worked as an English teacher in French lycées as well as a private tutor to a local business.
When I graduated, I began my teaching and tutoring career which took on a primary scope as I became a mother too. I am all about making language fun and accessible but also adore accessing higher level structures and digging into the grammar and can use my GCSE and A level expertise to give guidance specific to the exam board or any given success criteria.
