About Safiya
I am an English Literature graduate (first class honours) with considerable experience teaching primary, GCSE and A-Level students. I have been tutoring since my school days and understand that every student has an individual learning style. I not only enjoy supporting students in improving their academics, but increasing their confidence and encouraging them to recognise the power of their unique voice! Working on essay writing skills, grammar, vocabulary, effective communication (and more) I can support you in working on what you wish to improve!

My lessons are structured with an introductory activity, main activities and a plenary to consolidate your learning, lasting around 40-60 minutes. I have successfully tutored GCSE and A-Level students, as well as students wishing to learn or improve their spoken and written English, and have experience proofreading and editing essays, CVs, personal statements and more.
