I am an English (bachelors) graduate with two years of teaching experience and a track record of helping students acheive their required grades. My previous (and current) students range from KS2 (11 year olds) to A level, with varying levels of ability.

As a tutor, I am particularly vocal and animated when explaining topics, and often utilize diagrams to explain different models of thinking appropriate to texts and subject matter. This stems from my interest in philosophy of mind, and in particular the relationship between faculty and concept: I believe that through visually displaying the different kinds of perspectives and ideas that language and texts are in relation to, students can learn to treat words as portals to different types of perceptions.
