About Saoirse
My name is Saoirse and I tutor because I want to change the way Irish is viewed by students and help those stressed out by the language. Irish is a challenge just like rock climbing, it doesn't feel good when your muscles are sore, but when you reach your goal, whatever that may be, it's always worth the effort and confidence at the end! If the Irish challenge is fun for you, that's great! The motivation is almost always there! However if your Irish is like my math, easy instructions, a friendly face and hard work halved, goes a long way!

Sessions will include conversation practice, grammar guidance and essay techniques and depending on individuals interests and locality, possibly outings to cafés làn-ghaeilge! I believe Irish should be learned in a fun environment and be celebrated as a language and not feared so lessons will be interesting and useful to the person eg if studying for leaving certificate with sraith pictiúr or are in first year university hoping to understand your lectures notes! Sessions can be in person, online or both!
