About Prachi

Hello! I am Prachi Thakor, a final-year Information Technology engineering student with a strong passion for programming and teaching. I have recently been placed at Capgemini, which reflects my dedication to building strong technical skills and understanding real-world software development practices.

During my academic journey, I have worked with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, SQL, and Python and have developed multiple projects related to web development and machine learning. These experiences have helped me build strong programming fundamentals as well as practical problem-solving skills.

I have also conducted offline programming workshops in my college, where I taught programming concepts to students. The feedback from the participants was very positive, which motivated me even more to continue sharing my knowledge and helping others understand coding in a simple and structured way.

Currently, in my final year, I am working on a project that addresses a real-world problem, and it has been recognized among the Top 50 projects in India. This experience has given me deeper insights into how programming concepts are applied in practical scenarios, which I also incorporate into my teaching.

As a teacher, I focus on explaining concepts clearly, encouraging interactive learning, and guiding students through practical coding exercises. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students can confidently ask questions, strengthen their fundamentals, and develop strong logical thinking skills.

I believe that with the right guidance and consistent practice, anyone can learn programming effectively, and I am committed to helping students achieve that confidence in their learning journey.

About the lesson

As a final-year Information Technology engineering student placed at Capgemini, I focus on teaching programming in a practical and placement-oriented way. My goal is to help students build strong fundamentals in C, C++, Java, SQL, and Python while also developing problem-solving and logical thinking skills required for technical interviews and coding assessments.

My teaching method follows a concept + practice + placement preparation approach. I begin with clear explanations of programming concepts in simple language and then move to hands-on coding examples so students understand how the concepts are applied in real programs. I also include problem-solving exercises that help students improve their coding ability and logical thinking.

A typical class is structured in three parts:

Concept Explanation – Understanding the theory and logic behind programming concepts.

Hands-on Coding Practice – Implementing programs and solving coding problems step-by-step.

Placement-Oriented Practice – Solving interview-level questions and improving coding efficiency.

My special focus as a teacher is on strengthening programming fundamentals, improving logical thinking, and preparing students for technical interviews and coding rounds. I also guide students on writing clean and efficient code and understanding how programming concepts are used in real-world software development.

My classes are intended for school students, diploma students, and engineering students, especially those who want to learn programming from the basics or prepare for coding interviews and placements.
