About Ciara
I am a 22 year old final year Global Commerce student currently studying at the University of Galway. I specialise in Accounting and Performance Management, and have previous experience working in a Big Four accounting firm.
As I am still a student myself, I understand the struggles and pressures that come with studying for such stressful exams. I use this understanding to empathise with students and help them to reach their full potential.

With previous experience tutoring for the Leaving Certificate, my approach to teaching is straight forward and organised. I find breaking topics students are struggling with into the basics is the most effective way to ensure real understanding which can then be reflected under exam conditions.
Accounting and Business subjects can have a lot of information to memorise. I find that utilising brainstorming diagrams and creating more digestible and compressed notes can be very powerful in helping students to retain information.
My knowledge and experience can be easily applied to students studying for both the Junior and Leaving Cert.
An average lesson length would be 1 hour- 1.5 hours, subject to change based on individual student’s needs.
