About Courtney
I am a fourth year Foundation Phase education student at Stellenbosch University.
I have a passion for helping children learn and grow in a holistic way, not just academically.
I have experience in teaching learners from grade R to grade 4 through teaching practicals as well as private tutoring.

I like to approach learning in a positive and light manner. I believe that the best way for someone to learn is to understand, not just memorise. I teach through use of pictures, flashcards, and games, and I enjoy using colour to help students feel more at ease.
Due to the fact that I am studying an Education degree, I have learnt many different teaching methodologies, and how to use them to best suit my learner.

Details
Rates are at R130 an hour plus an additional R20 for petrol if the distance is further than 15km.
The first lesson will be free and will last between 30 minutes to one hour. This is for me to get to know the learner, as well as to determine the level of the learner (their strengths and weaknesses) as well as what kind of learner they are.
